Birthday Party Set Up…Step-by-Step
Decorations
We kept the decor pretty simple and affordable for this party. Instead of piecing together a banner, balloons, and streamers separately…you can order a full birthday decor kit from Amazon and have everything you need all in one. Here is the one we used for this party specifically, but the options are endless for this…look around and find something you love!
I also used a simple disposable, purple table cloth for easy cleanup and to add a pop of color to the table. I would definitely recommend not skipping this step. Once the girls start peeling the backs of the stickers off, there are little white cutouts everywhere and this made clean up super easy. I just scooped up the stickers we didn’t use, put them in a baggie, and then grabbed all 4 corners of the table cloth to throw everything else that had been used away. Any tablecloth will work, I was in a pinch for time so I ordered this one.
Water Bottles
When I was researching which water bottles to purchase, I wanted something that was good quality however, with 6 girls, I didn’t want to spend $40 each. After some searching, I came across these and they are 10 out of 10! Very sturdy, flip top, and come in tons of colors! Theses are a great “middle of the road” option. We chose to do all one color in pink but it would be super cute to let the girls pick their favorite color, alternate colors, or do a pastel rainbow themed party.
Stickers
Now for the star of the show….the stickers! When I say these were the most fun to look at and watch the girls pick out for their water bottle. Theses stickers are so popular for computers, kindles, water bottles, etc so there are literally endless amounts of options to choose from. Plus, they are crazy affordable. You can get a pack of 100 or more stickers for under $10. I ordered a few sets because I wanted to give the girls some options. There will be more than enough to choose from and decorate with. (I will say it’s probably not a bad idea to look through them before laying them out on the table for the girls to use, just to make sure there isn’t anything above their age level in appropriateness.) I will link the exact ones I ordered below…these were so fun!
These looked so fun and pretty laid out across the table. It was so neat to see which ones each girl gravitated to and how they were able to show their personalities, hobbies, likes/dislikes through theses stickers.
Favor Bags
Next up, these adorable favor bags! I wasn’t planning on doing these for the party but I spotted them and they were just too cute to pass up. They come in a several colors and almost every letter of the alphabet so they are super simple to customize. These ended up working out great because we had lots of extra stickers so the girls used these bags to take extra stickers home with them for things iPads and laptops. These would make great travel bags for the skincare items our tween girls love. 😉

The finished product…..ok, how stinking cute are these?! They turned out so great and each one had so much personality!
The girls absolutely loved decorating their water bottles. Each one was similar but had a unique individualized look. As a bonus, when the girls leave they have a new water bottle they can take with them to school or any sporting activity they do.

This party was also pretty affordable when you compare to renting out a space and providing food for several kids. My total cost is broken down below: (Keep in mind, prices fluctuate, but this is a good ballpark) ☺️

- Party Decor Kit = $12.99
- Tablecloth – (3 pack) – $6.99
Total Costs = $221
*I will say in retrospect I ordered WAY too many stickers. You could just order 1 set of 100 and be fine! If you wanted to get the total under $150, you could order 1 pack of stickers and pass on the party favor bags.*
Overall, this party was a complete SUCCESS! We would 100% do this again, and from my mom perspective, it was the easiest party I have ever done. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
