Have you heard of The Giving Manger? It’s the sw Have you heard of The Giving Manger? It’s the sweetest book that talks about the Christmas Spirit. It comes with a precious little baby Jesus and a manger. As a family, you focus on acts of service for others through the Christmas season and each time you complete one, you move a piece of straw into the manger. A friend did this last year with her family and it stuck out to me so much, we had to add it to our traditions this year. It’s so simple and sweet…I just love it! A great reminder that is just as much for me as it is for the kids! 😅 What’s your favorite Christmas tradition you do as family? The first project at the new house was a Thanksgiv The first project at the new house was a Thanksgiving table set for friends…some of my girls got to come over for lunch today and the food and company did not disappoint 🦃🙌🏼 Our neighbor and her family loved this table well before they passed it to us to give a little TLC. Just a few coats of paint and I love how it turned out. I can’t wait to make more memories here! I used SW Iron Ore (I’ve been slightly obsessed with this color lately). 10/10 would recommend finding something to paint, turning on an audiobook and avoiding all your responsibilities for a few hours 😉🎧📚 #Furnitureflip #tablemakeover #beforeandafterfurnituremakeovers #thanksgivingtabledecor
Save these quick, spooky treats for your Halloween Save these quick, spooky treats for your Halloween parties this week! Kid Friendly Witch’s Brew What You’ll Need: -1 container of Rainbow Sherbet -2 Liter of Sprite -46 ounce can of pineapple juice -gummy worms -punch bowl (or cauldron) Add all the sherbet to the bottom of your punch bowl. Pour the Sprite and pineapple juice on top of the sherbet (this will make the punch foam). Add gummy worms to the top of the punch. Serve and add extra gummy worms to each drink! 💫 💫 💫 💫 Creepy Crawly Spider Donuts What You’ll Need: -donuts -donut holes -decorating icing -candy eyeballs Take one donut and use your decorative icing to draw 3 “spider legs” on each side of the donut. Add a donut hole to the middle of the donut. Make two dots of icing in the middle of the donut hole and place two candy eyeballs on top of the icing (this helps hold the eyes in place). Repeat with all of your donuts and serve!

Board tips here 👇🏼 -start with your bowls (set them apart from each other and fill with smaller foods) -when adding the other foods, rotate around the board (a little here, a little there) -fill the holes in the board with a “filler” like popcorn, or smaller candies -add your props! My personal favorite! 🎃 I’ll have a little pep in my step from here through Christmas bc it’s just so good 🙌🏽 After trying and failing for years to keep mums alive, we went with faux mums this year and I’m in love! They have a different look up close but overall give the color and fall vibe without having to protect them from the heat or the first frost 👏 The lazy girl/busy mom in me is all about it! Next up…faux pumpkins 🎃👌🏽 Do you think you would try faux plants for your porch? 🌸
